The 2007 BASRA Swimsuit Calendar is an important part of the fundraising efforts of the Bahamas Air Sea Rescue Association, so not only will you enjoy a great calendar for an entire year, but you help out one of the most vital organisations in the Bahamas!

Each month is sponsored by a different business and the photo layout for each month features bikini-clad models promoting the sponsor’s business. It is a fun and unique way for businesses to support BASRA. The eye-popping pictures will ensure that everyone wants to buy the calendar, which will go on sale for the first time at the 37th Annual Bernie Butler Marathon and BASRA Beach event on Saturday, August 18. The marathon begins at the jetty in front of Our Lucaya and ends at Coral Beach Hotel, where the party will go on all day.

The bikini calendar theme was the brainchild of Barefoot Marketing, who coordinated the entire project. Sarah Kirkby, president of Barefoot Marketing, and Leigh Termath worked closely with Erik Russell of Keen i Media Ltd, who photographed the entire project. Keen i Media provided the models from its extensive talent portfolio; all models are local, so you will likely recognise the beautiful young talent on each page. Locations were all over town, many were beach shots and some were taken on-site at the various sponsors' businesses.

The calendar sells for just $20, and is now available at these convenient locations in Freeport, Grand Bahama (Nassau locations coming soon!):
